10 Things for March
Dear Reader,
Happy March — the month where “Spring” is marked on the calendar.
Ironically, the climate decided to celebrate March with me today. Our snow has melted, the sun is shining, and the temps are tolerable enough for a walks.
There’s something so energizing about this time of year.
It’s the time of year when I have this deep desire to purge, open windows, ignite uplifting scents, exfoliate my body, declutter my mind.
In essence, Spring feels like a detox of winter stagnancy. I love it.
This Spring, I’m letting my skin and nails breathe naked. I’m eliminating a large portion of my closet. I’m eating what the Earth makes, not what man makes. I’m grounding my feet in soil. I’m taking bikini getaways, and yes, I am exposing my pregnant belly to good Vitamin D.
I’m doing all the things that make me feel alive and well.
Along with that, I’m starting to consider a refresh on a few key things in my wardrobe, home, wellness practices, and beauty routine.
Sharing some things below that bring a bit of spark for this new season.
xx

10 THINGS
WEARABLE
Recently updated my everyday trench with this Toteme (a favorite label for outerwear), but I was very close to going with Skall Studio’s Macy. Another great affordable option: Everlane’s long trench.
Come Spring, I have a brand crush on Emme Parsons. I know chunky is trending, but I am partial to this delicate Emme Parsons sandal (I’ve also loved their fishermans for many seasons).
Very drawn silver right now, and my fav new silver addition is my Lie Studio Camille earrings (super lightweight). Also love these shells from Louis Abel and these simple hinged hoops by Sophie Buhai.
BEAUTY
Among all makeup, I am most picky about a good clean mascara, and I’m here to tell you that Monika Blunder makes a top-notch clean mascara. (Megan15)
The new Cleansing Balm by Goop — so good! Gently cleanses while it melts away makeup, SPF, dirt, pollution, and all other ickiness from your day.
HOME
Swapped out some old picture frames for new silver hues. I bought the MATCH Trentino and Carretti Frame at Weston Table (both size small — I love a petite frame) and also this L’Onjet ripple frame.
Okay, more silver — I also got these new sun coasters by Anastasio Home. (Megan10 for discount.)
Picked some fun things from McGee & Co., including: these tumblers (also got the highball glasses), these hurricane taper holders, and of course, a wicker basket.
WELLNESS
Getting back into Pilates! Sticky socks are a requirement at my studio (similar to many barre and yoga studios), and I’ve loved these Amazon socks. Extra sticky, extra cute.
Sleep-seeking pregnant mamas have asked me how I’ve dealt with sleep issues during pregnancy (insomnia is a thing!). My routine that that helps the most: no screens 30 minutes before bed, a bath to warm the body, drop the temp in the bedroom (I like it at 68-degrees), and I always use my acupressure mat.
