Crochet to Catch Attention
Come Springtime, I am caught by all the looped yarn that is on the market. I’m a sucker for crochet — it has that unique ability to feel fun yet classic and retro all at once.
If crochet is a net, I am indeed the fish.
Without getting too wordy in this post, I’m going to jump into some styles caught my attention, ranging from dresses to shoes, from Bottega to Zara, from pops of color to ivory and black.
Admittedly, many of these styles wont fit my 26-week bump, but I’m there are several pieces that will work for those with or without a bump.
Maybe you’ll be caught as well.

Not to be confused with raffia, this woven bag is made from fabric (not grassy leafs). Eye-catcher, IMO.
Total heart eyes here — this Bottega crochet tee is perfect, yet basically a much more expensive version of my Vince tee I bought years ago(and will never give up). Similar look for (much, much) less: here from Gap.
You already know how I feel about sock-like shoes, so these were an obvious share.
Khaite’s crochet shoe for the win.
Fairly certain I’ve never seen a more artful crochet set in my life. Sadly this set isn’t third trimester appropriate, but I appreciate its beauty from afar.
If you’re still on the red craze (they say it’s a neutral, after all), this Johanna Ortiz is a good one.
But maybe green is the pop of color to embrace?
Or keep it simple and colorless with these shorts.
I like this oversized menswear for women by Agua by Bendita (styled on both men and women on the Internet). Similar less expensive here.
That said, a full length crochet dress coverup almost seems like a necessity in every woman’s spring wardrobe. I have this sleeveless crochet dress by Marysia and love it.
If you’re not a sun-seeker, there are cool indoor options for crochet too. Enter By Malene Birger — a chic top and dress option.
If Jacqueline Kennedy wore crochet, I believe this would be her pick:
Top it all off with this cutesy crochet hat.
Have you been caught yet? :)
Happy crochet season
