Recipe: Easy Matcha Oat Milk Latte
I’ve been on a real big matcha kick recently — especially when it's paired with oat milk. Say what you want about oat milk, I personally think it froths the best in lattes, and really, the taste is so good on its own you don’t need to add much else.
Here is my easy, three-ingredient go-to matcha latte recipe. You can make it hot or iced, simply forego the stovetop portion if you wish to make it iced.
INGREDIENTS
1 tsp matcha powder (I like Rishi’s Everyday Matcha)
1 cup oatmilk (I like Malk best)
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Pour the oat milk into a pan over the stovetop
Add honey to oat milk for a tiny bit of sweetness
Once the milk-and-honey blend simmers, pour into a blender.
Add matcha powder into the blender
Blend together for 10-15 seconds on medium
Pour into a mug and enjoy!
Note: if you want this matcha latte iced, forego the stovetop portion and simply add all the items to a blender, blend, and serve over ice.
