A Love For: Osea
Ever since being pregnant, I’ve gotten several questions about my preferred clean beauty line.
Over the years, I’ve gone to clean brands for specific product (for example, I may like one brand’s cleanser, but am not crazy about their moisturizer, etc.). Rarely am I smitten by absolutely everything a brand carries.
Lo and behold, I met Osea — one of the first clean brands that disrupted the beauty industry (a little history here).
The company was kind enough to send me a few products to try, and frankly, I am obsessed with ALL OF THEM. There isn’t a product I don’t like, and I love that all of them are completely non-toxic and clean for my pregnancy (although I’ll surely use them after my pregnancy too).
I’ve been asked which product I’d start with if buying Osea for the first time. My philosophy: when I want to explore a skincare brand for the first time, I typically start with a cleanser (it’s like how you can judge a restaurant by the quality of their cocktails—you can judge skincare by the quality of their cleanser). With that said, I am in love with Osea’s Ocean Cleanser — it is a mineral gel cleanser that never strips the skin, yet still thoroughly cleanses and exfoliates without any granulars.
I also love Osea’s Atmosphere Protection Cream as a daytime moisturizer — it is light but so hydrating (I wear it every day over my Vintner’s Daughter serum).
Also, if you’re looking for body care, I cannot rave enough about their award-winning salt scrub, their best-selling body butter ( and they just restocked it), or their body oil. I love the subtle clean smell of their products, and and they all perform so well.
