Dear Reader,
Yesterday, I did a “Ask Me Anything” on my Instagram story, and I’ll be honest: it was the first time I got excited about style in a long time.
Wintertime really deflates my interest in looking cute. My preference is to stay warm and indoors, buried under blankets, with socks so thick they won’t even fit inside a shoe.
Yesterday, though, we got talking about Spring. I started diving into buttery yellows and custard khakis, which ultimately inspired me to create this edit on my ShopMy (more there than there is here).

When it comes to yellow, I tread with caution. A vibrant yellow is challenging to pull off for most skin tones. It also can feel like too much of a statement, and I prefer a more quiet wardrobe.
I want a dust of yellow—you know, just a touch on the paintbrush. That’s what I’m looking for this Spring.
