From my January newsletter —
I am sharing the ten pluses that are adding to my life right now as we begin this new year. Enjoy! xoxo - Megan

HOME

  • Pretty dishes inspire me to cook and present food more beautifully, so one of my goals is to replace our generic dishes with hand thrown ceramics (my husband thinks this is funny). I love the work I’ve found through Good Kind WorkKJ PotteryHumble Ceramics, and Blanc Pottery.

  • I appreciate an ordered, yet beautiful display. I love my marble trays for cosmetics, and I recently received two “ruffled” marble bowls (the small one here for jewelry, and this one for fruit) to keep my belongings minimal and organized.

  • Who doesn’t love a gorgeous planner? Last year, I got this customizable planner by GoldenCoil, and this year I went one from Appointed

HEALTH

  • My girlfriend gifted me the Simply Real Health Cookbook by Sarah Adler (who is also an IIN grad!). It inspires me to get cookin’ without too much commitment because every recipe involves few ingredients and little prep time.

  • I’ve shared my recent obsession for golden milk on my stories recently (this homemade recipe is fab, but you can’t go wrong with this fool-proof powder). Such a healing beverage for colder seasons and has great potential health benefits

  • Whether I’m sick or not, I always appreciate a Neti Pot to clear sinuses (make sure you use sterile water).

BEAUTY

  • I recently pulled the trigger and purchased the Vintner’s Daughter serum. This is my first “serum” but it’s really a multi-care product (also, it smells AH-MA-ZING). Great for the minimalist skincare lover.

  • I can’t love this Chantecaille cleanser any more. I got a sample, which resulted in the purchase of a larger bottle (a rare occurrence). I love the small granulars, how the creaminess turns into a foam, and how a little goes a long way!

WEARBLES

  • Cute gym items inspire me to go to the gym. My micro gym bag holds all my essentials so that I don’t have to carry my purse into the gym (also love this less expensive one). It holds my Bala weights, keys, gym ID card, headphones, phone, and barre socks.
