One Coat, That’s It.
and what to expect from me in 2025
Dear reader,
It’s 6AM and I am reflecting on how I want to prioritize content in 2025.
In full disclosure, I am working on a long-term project that isn’t a money-maker (at least not initially). Yet, it will consume a lot of my time.
There’s that whole exercise of “what do you want to do before you die?”, and it is apparent to me that I ought to put my attention towards a project that means more to me spiritually mentally emotionally, even if it never makes a dime.
Links on Substack don’t mean a whole lot to me spiritually mentally or emotionally. Just being honest.
That said, I don’t want to completely remove myself from sharing pieces I love. I simply want to do so in a way that is more sustainable for my lifestyle — i.e., as a stay-at-home mom with other ambitions that excite me more.
For me, the most sustainable way is to share singular pieces that I am excited about when the time arises.
You will see less round ups from me. You will see more focus on specific pieces I wear in real time.
Starting here and now.
The one piece that’s really exciting me atm: this scarf coat from Róhe.
Actually, the entire brand really does it for me. Born out of Amsterdam, Róhe says their designs are “quietly confident,” another way to say quiet luxury, but with price-points that are more affordable than The Row.
Think timeless design, quality materials, zero labels, minimalist, thoughtful silhouettes. That’s Róhe.
In my eyes, this scarf coat embodies their aforementioned mission. Practical while beautiful, dramatic while understated.
In the meantime, I’d love to hear any/all your feedback in the comments, what resonates, what doesn’t. I’m (always) assessing how to optimize my time on and offline.
All for now, and all for 2024.
I’ll see you next year in simpler format. 💕
