Neutral Nails: My Go-To Polishes

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always preferred the look of clean, bare fingernails. At the same time, I want my hands to feel well-kept and look polished too. So what do I do? I get bi-weekly (sometimes weekly) manicures, but I go for the “no manicure” manicure look.
Trimmed cuticles, filed shaping, and the slightest neutral sheer tone to my fingernails. After many years of getting this particular manicure, I’ve come to find some of my favorite tones to accomplish the bare-but-polished look.
Below are some of my favorite go-to polishes for those pretty clean hands. Note that, unless I want an opaque look (a rare occurrence), I usually request only one coat of polish.
